Wow, so I love drawing in L.A. the models are so much more..... eccentric. This guy was really giving us some hard poses, and had this whole Burghers of Calleigh thing going, I really wanted to draw his character and it was hard to stick to actual life drawing with him.

Illustration Friday- THANKSGIVING, November 23, 1968
I was born on Thanksgiving. Having been adopted as a baby, my mom always told me this story... She put a turkey in the oven and when the timer went off, she found me! The two turkey hands represent my brothers. Ha ha, I love my mom for telling me this story in this way.

My friend and neighbor Steve Pierson has written and performed this great children's album I am doing the cover art for. The copyright is ours, and hopefully it will get picked up. Sunny loves the music, so I think it's going to be a hit!
