I Remember
Sunny wanted to write a song for the Reflections program sponsered by the PTA. They have a different theme every year, this year it was "Magic of the Moment". She discovered the tune on her ukelele, and was struggling with the words. We were looking at some old photos and found pictures of her and Peggy at an aquarium walking around, having lunch together and we couldn't believe that was her, and not that long ago. Inspired, she wrote these words and developed the chorus and melody into this heartfelt son. Her Dad and friend Scott Bennett recorded her at his studio an my long life friend Barbie turned it into a video, and here it is...I Remember by Sunny Rae Keller.

Thanksgiving Fall Leaves
I'm from the Midwest and really miss fall this time of year, so I made up this project to bring the fall color into our California lives. These are really fun to make and then you can decorate the house or Thanksgiving table with them.

Creating life on the blacktop
Here are some fun pictures of the transformation of a small abandoned area on campus at Carpenter Community Charter Elementary. This "lovely" area was locked up and deserted. Our beautification team with some help from parents cleaned this area up and we painted and planted and now the kids are making it their own. Butterflies and Hummingbirds kinda like it too. :)

Recognizing Those Affected with Alzheimer’s Disease and Celebrating a Call To Action | The White House
There are many issues this election, creating serious rifts between parties, friends and even family. You can argue, send me links, rants, or opposing views but hands down this is the number one reason I am voting for Obama. Too much government? Not when it comes to research and a cure.

Cardboard Farm
Sometime in LA it gets so hot, it actually reminds me of a snow day. Instead of being too cold to go outside, it's too darn hot. So we stay inside and... make stuff. When Gidget woke up today she wanted to draw a cow, and so one thing led to another.
