Brilliant work! The colour and composition rocks, and it feels kinda 'powerful', y'know? The idea of the wind pulling at her roots, but they go deep and she stays put... Anyway, great interpretation and great illo. Bookmarked!
Very nice...both the visual and the conceptual interpretations are very well done. I like the feeling of a strong wind that created, her very dtermined expression, and the deep growing green roots against the brown earth. It says "grounded" to me. I also like the torn edges of the paper.

I agree, this is a great interpretation. Moreover, the treatment is very nice. Congratulations!
