illustration Friday- "HATS"

We were cotton candy for Halloween....

Fuzzy

I'm trying to draw my "images" of mother hood, and they just don't work as drawings.... it's more about shape and texture and light and I don't know, there are no lines.....

New Giraffe Mural at Sunnyside Pre-school

It's pretty fun to watch Gidget watch me paint.... and Sunny is at pre-school all day where I can be a fly (giraffe) on the wall and see what she's up to.

These are from a series of drawings I did called "Charcoal Moon". I drew them very early in the morning, while the moon is still out...

Illustration Friday- "Citrus"

Put on Hold....

No baby yet, the doc thinks it could be atleast another week or so.... My body is really under distress, my mind is okay, I feel oddly calm yet extremely anxious and like I could explode at any minute. She is so out front in my belly, I can't function properly. Oh please make this a mother's day to remember.

Illustration Friday- "Remember"

Oh brother, or should I say sister, it's almost time for my second baby to come out..... and well I guess last night I started to remember what it was like the first time around. It was really hard, and weird and amazing and I forgot a lot of it, but on the eve of going at it again, I am starting to remember the pain, but what I really remember the MOST is Allen (my husband) there for every second and how he really helped me through the whole thing. Bringing a baby into this world is very much an act of love between two people and develops into an insane love for the child, especially as she grows. I don't think I'd be doing it again if this wasn't true, or would I... WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!!
