A really beautiful exhibit! I especially admire the orange paintings as I have lived in CA my whole life and when I was a little girl it was all orange groves everywhere and I miss those days but your paintings bring back the memories...

I am really excited by the way your landscapes have changed in recent work. The views in LA and the hours you spend painting in the garden have really shaped your art. The details in the landscapes themselves are more delicate and defined, less stark. And, the figures in these landscapes are more engaged with the landscape than in your previous work. These are people (and objects) moving comfortably and naturally through the landscape rather than improbably placed within it. This is wonderful work!
