Illustration Friday- THANKSGIVING, November 23, 1968

I was born on Thanksgiving. Having been adopted as a baby, my mom always told me this story... She put a turkey in the oven and when the timer went off, she found me! The two turkey hands represent my brothers. Ha ha, I love my mom for telling me this story in this way.

Love the illo (now expalined!) and the inclusion of your brother's hand turkeys. Very sweet! Kudos to your mom for the creative adoption tale :)

what a tender and sweet lady your mom must be! This helped to shape you into the beauty that you are today! And it helped your imagination to create fanciful images. I hope you have a very Happy Birthday and a lovely Thanksgiving!!! Hope you are feeling good too!
